We are looking for a volunteer "street team" to help promote our upcoming Polar Plunge! This event raises funds to provide sports, health and education programs to Special Olympics DC athletes. More information about the Polar Plunge can be found here: www.dcpolarplunge.org.
Volunteers will meet at 10:30am at Special Olympics DC office (900 2nd Street NE, Suite 6) to obtain flyers and polar bear hats, then head to Chinatown to hand out flyers near the metro station and restaurants. Many people will be out grabbing lunch, so there should be a lot of good foot traffic! Around 1:30pm volunteers will head back to office with leftover materials.
Looking for enthusiastic volunteers to hype the event!
