The Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) is hosting the nation's premier educator's convention on February 14th through the 17th, 2018 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in Downtown San Antonio. Approximately 30,000 attendees are expected to attend. The attendees include educators of kindergarten through college levels, college student members, high school students planning careers in music education, performers, exhibitors, family members and other visitors. This convention attracts music educators from around the world, making it the largest convention in San Antonio.

Volunteers are needed on Wednesday the 14th-Saturday the 17th to help monitor the doors of the convention center to ensure the appropriate, registered individuals enter. Saturday the 17th TMEA will also be hosting concerts and volunteers are needed to help monitor the lines to ensure ticketed individuals enter the concerts.

All adult volunteers must be 18 yrs or older.
