ORGANIZATION: Alzheimer's Association Greater Dallas Chapter

This position supports the Walk to End Alzheimer’s Manager to achieve year-round coordination, implementation, and revenue outcomes for the Dallas Walk to End Alzheimer’s (WTEA). Held annually in downtown Dallas in the fall.

The WTEA Coordinator assists with recruiting and partnering with staff and volunteers to meet participant and recruitment goals. Candidate must accept responsibility and give careful attention to details. Must possess excellent oral and written communication with the ability to present with poise, confidence, and professionalism.

This position requires an experienced, take charge professional with ability to build relationships and provide administration of assigned projects. Must be able to work independently and collaboratively with volunteers with the ability to anticipate project needs, discern work priorities, and meet deadlines with little supervision.
Primary Duties
  • Managing Team Captains
  • Volunteer recruitment
  • Solicit and cultivate past and new teams, participants, and sponsors.
  • Sourcing Walk Team leads for the Walk to End Alzheimer's
  • Provide consistent and prompt customer service to participants
  • Prepare Sponsor recognition for social media
  • Attend WTEA Special Events
