You would start with some updates of the existing websites (completion of responsive design) to get familiar with our platform and then be in charge of:
- Entirely redesigning the "Explore" website: www.explorewithmwnf.org; this would include the design of virtual tours to our "Islamic Art in the Mediterranean" itineraries.
- Adapting the design for a new online museum focusing on the art of glass: www.discoverglassart.org; the page layout should be similar to www.discovercarpetart.org, which was launched earlier this year.
Timing is flexible and we could adapt to your possibilities; ideally the new version of "Explore" should go online in June, "Discover Glass Art" should be ready in May (hidden access) and go then live in fall / winter 2018.

Museum With No Frontiers (MWNF) builds bridges through knowledge and understanding. MWNF has 20 years of experience in "rewriting history" beyond narrow nationalist agendas and promoting a new, inclusive vision of history that highlights exchanges and cooperation between cultures in areas as diverse as archaeology, art and culture, economy and social life. Against the backdrop of contemporary global challenges and conflicts, MWNF projects demonstrate the far-reaching potential of cultural heritage in building intercultural bridges in the name of peace.
Description
Museum With No Frontiers (MWNF) was founded in 1994. Since the beginning, the idea was to overcome any kind of conventional 'border' and to create an exhibition space where well-known and unknown, small and large, secure and insecure, rich and poor could not only coexist but would complement each other, generating mutual benefit for all concerned.
The MWNF program is built around two main activities: the MWNF Virtual Museum including different thematic sections and the MWNF travel guides, focusing on little known aspects of cultural heritage.
MWNF is an independent non-profit organization, relying mainly on volunteer resources. The legal seat is established in Vienna, Austria.
The network set up by MWNF includes public and private Partners from all around the world.
