This is a new event Best Buddies is hoping to make an annual tradition! The Best Buddies Citizens Program matches local adults, one person with and one person without an Intellectual and Developmental Disability, in a one-to-one friendship. Buddy Pairs are just like you and your friends, they spend time together, share mutual interests and go out into the community to attend fun events! We are inviting all of our adult buddy pairs to come out on February 17th for a ValenPals Day Dance and we are in need of a DJ to donate their time! Buddy Pairs will be bringing snacks and drinks to share, and we hope you can help us get our groove on!

Founded in 1989 by Anthony K. Shriver, Best Buddies is a vibrant, international organization that has grown from one original chapter to almost 1,900 middle school, high school, and college chapters worldwide. Best Buddies programs engage participants in each of the 50 United States, and over 50 countries around the world. Best Buddies’ eight formal programs - Middle Schools, High Schools, Colleges, Citizens, e-Buddies, Jobs, Ambassadors , and Promoters - positively impact nearly 900,000 individuals with and without disabilities worldwide.
