Started in 2015 with just 22 schools, in the 2018-2019 school year True2U will serve 8th graders in all 66 Cleveland Metropolitan School District schools with the support of an estimated 450 volunteer mentors.
You can help our future leaders grow and develop by becoming a True2U Mentor. Volunteer mentors are matched into teams of 2 or 3, and then assigned a small group of about 12 students to lead for the year.
Mentoring teams meet with their youth at the school on nine Thursdays mornings, leading and facilitating discussions and activities in a structured curriculum that helps youth participants explore their values, interests and strengths and get a new perspective on career options from their mentors.
