Group Volunteer Opportunities

We invite Bay Area and national corporations to bring volunteer groups to one of the most beautiful locations in California to spend a day doing good for nature, in nature. Enjoy working away from the office with your team while collaborating on vital projects for Slide Ranch in Muir Beach and get an opportunity to hang out with our goats, sheep, lambs, chickens and ducks. Don't forget to ask about our farm-to-table lunches and wine receptions too!

Please be aware that our address is listed in Sausalito, CA but the location is actually Muir Beach on the beautiful Pacific coast!

Founded in 1970, Slide Ranch is a non-profit teaching farm located at a historic coastal dairy perched above the ocean in the Marin Headlands within the Golden Gate National Recreation Area (GGNRA). Organic gardens, goats, sheep, chickens and ducks, along with numerous coastal trails, tidepools and pocket beaches, provide an ideal outdoor venue for teaching about healthy foods, healthy living and environmental awareness. Annually, over 10,000 Bay Area children, youth and families participate in Slide Ranch Programs which bring learning to life with experiential education activities on a working farm, using organic gardens and animals to teach an appreciation of where food comes from, and to inspire a lifestyle that includes the sustainable use of natural resources. The organization also works to ensure that its programs are accessible to all, and raises funds that make it possible for more than 70% of the children and youth it serves to receive scholarship assistance.
