We are putting together a class of Tour Guides. If interested, please go to the BPL website and click on tours under "Central Library" for position overview and to fill out a brief application or respond here. The deadline is January 19 and we will be interviewing the last week of January. The training will begin mid-February and end in June. We will meet as a group one evening a month then in small groups every other week according to individual schedules. Once you graduate, your commitment will be to give 2 tours per month or 24 per calendar year for 2 years. We are looking for individuals with public speaking experience or a willingness to learn who will be great representatives of the Boston Public Library.
