Are you someone with a pet cat that feels there is something special about them? Well, you are right! Cats are special! Have you ever thought to use your cat to bring joy, a smile, and a positive life force energy into the lives of others, that's in hospice care? Hospice care is care that is giving to someone that is dealing with a terminal illness. The hospice team of professionals provides this patient with a comfort care treatment plan. This plan keeps them comfortable until their body is ready to transition into the next existence.

Did you know that you could be a part of their comfort care plan too?

You must have the following attributes:

  • Be compassionate,
  • Show empathy and understanding
  • Bring positive vibrations to our patients.

If you are eager to get started, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator. Thanks!

Note:
Handlers must be certified by through an approved program.
