Inneract Project seeks Volunteer Teachers and TAs for
Youth Design Academy (YDA) starting Spring 2018.

Inneract Project (IP) is a nonprofit organization, dedicated to driving diversity in the design + tech field by introducing youth to design and creating viable pathways to design careers. Working with both public and private sector, IP focuses its initiatives on education, advocacy, and entrepreneurship. Partners include Facebook, Autodesk, Academy of Art, and California College of the Arts.

YDA is a free 8-week program for middle school students from underserved communities in East Bay and San Francisco. As an IP Volunteer Teacher/TA, you will work with a team of designers to help our nonprofit mission of providing a fun and well-rounded design education program. Our program strives to inspire young people to pursue higher education and to consider design as a viable career opportunity.

Timeline
Application deadline: January 15, 2018
Lesson Preparation: February - March 2018 (Start)
Teaching Commitment: April - June 2018 (8 Saturdays)
Reception: June 2018
