KC Melting Pot Theatre, the Anchor theatre company at Just Off Broadway Theatre is seeking 2 volunteers to serve as Education and Community Outreach coordinators. These 2 people would be responsible for the following:
- Coordinating with school contacts for student trips to the theatre
- Working with community organizations to get senior groups and other disadvantaged groups to the theatre
- Providing information regarding the content of the play to those organizations
- Arranging ambassadors to welcome and guide the groups
- Reaching out to neighborhood associations to engage them in the theatre

Description
Just Off Broadway Theatre is dedicated to addressing the community issue of limited resources and access for local theater companies and organizations in the Kansas City theater community. As the catalyst for many of these entities, our theater serves as a home for KC Melting Pot Theatre (KCMPT), a Black-founded and operated company. When KCMPT is not utilizing the space, we provide affordable rentals to small organizations that lack a permanent performance venue.
