Has the # MeToo movement encouraged you to become involved in the anti-sexual violence movement? We have a way you can get involved! St. Francis Counseling Services is now taking applications for the Confidential Sexual Violence Advocate (CSVA) Training Program. The trainings are held from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM every Monday for 12 weeks, beginning September 10th through December 10th 2018.

After completing the training, you will be on call to provide sexual assault survivors crisis intervention, information, and referrals by phone and in person. Advocates may respond to a survivor for an accompaniment at one of four Ocean County Hospitals, any Ocean County Police Department, or the Ocean County Prosecutors Office.

If you are motivated to provide guidance, support and information to survivors and would like to volunteer time in your community by joining the anti-sexual violence movement, please consider joining our team.

Great experience for social work, counseling, psychology, sociology and criminal justice majors!

Please call 609-494-1554 to learn more about the program and to schedule an interview. Applications can be found online at: 4700 Long Beach Blvd
Long Beach Twp, NJ 08008-3926
