HELP SURVIVORS OF SEXUAL ABUSE AND ASSAULT AND BECOME A CONFIDENTIAL SEXUAL VIOLENCE ADVOCATE

ARE YOU COMPASSIONATE AND MOTIVATED TO ASSIST SEXUAL VIOLENCE SURVIVORS? JOIN OUR TEAM OF TRAINED ADVOCATES, FORENSIC NURSES AND DETECTIVES!

The Sexual Abuse and Assault Prevention Program of St. Francis Counseling Services is now taking applications for the Confidential Sexual Violence Advocate (CSVA) Training Program. Training is held from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM every Monday for 12 weeks, September through December.

After completing the training, you will be on call to provide sexual assault survivors crisis intervention, information, and referrals by phone and in person. Advocates may respond to a survivor for an accompaniment at one of four Ocean County Hospitals, any Ocean County Police Department, or the Ocean County Prosecutors Office.

Great experience for social work, counseling, psychology, sociology and criminal justice majors!

St. Francis Counseling Service provides individuals, couples and families with affordable, professional psychotherapy services addressing a wide range of issues. Services are available to all regardless of race, sex, age, disability, income or religious affiliations. Master-level therapists provide all professional counseling services.
