April 16th Kenzie's CLOSET High School Shopping Day Volunteer

Do you like fashion? Do you have a great sense of style? Would YOU like to help students select their prom attire? If so, bring a friend and join us for one of our shopping days. High School volunteers arrive once school dismisses. You assist in our boutique while qualified students shop for their prom attire. All volunteers are given a Kenzie's CLOSET t-shirt to wear during your volunteer time.

We have 3 areas of need:

Shoe Department

• Assist shoppers with shoe selections
• Bring shoes out from the shoe room as requested by adult volunteers
• Return shoes that are not chosen in the correct place on shelves
• Keep shoe room tidy and organized
• Fill in shoe display racks in the boutique as needed.
• Help put away dresses from the return rack as requested.

Jewelry Department

• Assist shoppers with jewelry selections. Each girl may chose 2 pieces (any 2)
• Jewelry on displays and mannequins is always available for shoppers.
• As jewelry is selected fill in the display wall and case with items for stock.
• Keep the department neat and full of selections at all times.
• At end of day make sure everything looks full and ready for the next shopping day.

Dress Department

• Return dresses from the "return rack" to the selection racks.
• Make sure each dress is on the hangar securely and all zippers and fasteners are closed.
• Double check color sizer on hanger against the size tag in the dress.
• Dresses are hung by size then by color within their size row by white-cream-pink-red-orange-yellow-green-blue ( light to dark)-violet-grey-black
• If you see dresses out of order move them to the correct spot.

• Cell phones should be turned off and put away with your coat or left at the front desk.
• Smile and have fun! You are making a dream come true!
