WSU College Tour

Volunteers will become involved in a year-long mentoring relationship with a young person who needs your support and guidance. You and your mentee will meet at their school for one (1) hour every week, during the regular school day. You both will engage in meaningful and fun activities that are designed to help the teen improve their self-esteem, learn how to prepare for college, and gain exposure to different careers. You’ll also have the opportunity to participate in planned group outings throughout the year, including college campus visits, job-shadowing at various work sites, and bowling, just to name a few. All volunteers will attend a mentor training session, and receive ongoing mentor education and support throughout the match relationship. If you have the desire to make a real difference in a child’s life, become a VIP Mentor , because "Children First" is what we truly believe!
