Depression Sanctuary is a non-profit information and support site dedicated to helping those suffering from depression.
We are looking for skilled writers to write informational articles relating to all aspects of this condition. Professional writers, mental health professionals, college students or anyone else possessing good grammar, punctuation and spelling skills are welcome.
We need original articles that have not been nor will be published anywhere else online, of 600 words or more. Articles should be medically-accurate with a list of sources cited. Any accompanying images or graphics should be ones that are either in the public domain, ones you have ownership of and can grant us the right to use or ones that are otherwise free for us to use. If you do not have any images, we can provide one for you.
As a thank you for your work, we would be happy to link your byline to your personal website, provided the content there is not something that would reflect badly on Depression Sanctuary.
If you require credit for community services hours, we can do this based upon your time invested in writing the articles.
Please be aware that each article submitted does go through editorial review and may be rejected if it doesn't meet certain quality and content standards. There may also be minimal editing, which you will have the ability to review prior to publication.
If you would like to be considered for this position, we will need to see a sample of your previous work. A link to website or blog where you have published work is acceptable.
