Real Options for City Kids, or R.O.C.K. for short, is getting ready to begin its Student Adult Leadership Training (SALT) spring session!
SALT provides R.O.C.K.’s middle and high school participants with new and challenging outdoor adventure opportunities as well as community service activities. Students get to experience a variety of outdoor activities and the chance to bond with some great adult role-models. SALT is held for 6 weeks on consecutive Saturdays and begins on April 7, 2018 (through May 12). Activities vary depending on the day.
Some activities for the winter session include: bowling, rollerskating, ice skating, indoor rock-climbing, and catching air at the trampoline park. For SALT, we do require our volunteers to provide student transportation to and from the event. Please note: activities range from 4-6 hours in length, depending on the day. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for details.
This is a great opportunity to do something positive in San Francisco as well as meet some great kids. Be sure to check out rocksf.org for more information and our other volunteer programs!
