Hospice Compassus is searching for volunteers in Lewisburg, TN. Those choosing to volunteer will work in their own community and schedule that is tailored to their availability. Non-medical volunteers may provide some of the following services:
* Helping with health fairs
* Office work such as filing, bagging gloves and mouth swabs, making intake packets, and etc.
* Baking
* Community education
* Patient caregiver relief- Sitting with patient while a caregiver runs errands, attends medical appointments, takes a nap, and etc.
* Emotional support
* Music or pet therapy
* Scrap-booking/journaling
* Reading to patients
* Nursing home visits
* And a variety of other tasks

Hospice Compassus provides end of life care with heartfelt compassion, excellence and integrity.
We are a quality hospice team of highly trained professionals and volunteers who work together as a team to assess and meet their patients' and families' needs. The team goes to great lengths to explore and evaluate treatment options in the context of each patients' symptoms, values and wishes.
