ORGANIZATION: INGHAM COUNTY ANIMAL SHELTER FUND

  • 4 people are interested

The Ingham County Animal Shelter Fund is looking for volunteers interested in joining our Board. A member of the Board is responsible for attending meetings the first Monday of every month in the evening. Meetings consist of reviewing Treasurer's reports, reviewing Special Events Planning Committee meeting minutes and upcoming special events, and discussion of other ways to reach potential donors.

We are a non-profit whose sole purpose is to raise funds for the care and medical support of animals at the Ingham County Animal Shelter. We are not a governing body of the Shelter and have no authority over how the shelter is run.

A board member should be willing to take on tasks such as research of a topic / fundraising opportunity, work with other volunteers on a special event, and possibly take on an executive position on the Board.

Interested individuals are encouraged to contact the chairperson, Patricia Whitener, at icasfund@gmail.com for further information.
