Looking for hospice volunteers

Do you have an hour a week to spend some time with a hospice patient?
Have you ever wish you could make a difference in someone’s life?
Just sitting and listening makes a difference with a hospice patient.
The gift of your time for only 1 hour is a gift of a life-time to a hospice patient.

Beacon Hospice volunteers help create an environment of comfort, compassion and dignity for our patients and their families. Volunteers enjoy listening to patient's stories, reading aloud, watching movies together, holding hands, sharing music or simply sitting.

We are currently looking for volunteers in Weymouth and surrounding towns.

Free hospice volunteer training will be made available to all participants.

Send me an email today, to find out what is involved with being a hospice volunteer.

Thank you,

Helen Burgoyne Duffy
Volunteer Coordinator, CDP, HHA
