The Tour de Cure at Lake Nona is an event where no matter what road you take, you will be joining thousands of people from around the country who have the same passion as you to fight diabetes and its burdens. Join us as we continue to help our communities strive for a better future against diabetes.
Day experience includes:
Starting line ceremonies with inspiring speakers
Well planned and marked routes
Vehicle support with medics and mechanics
Fully stocked rest stops
A fantastic lunch and post event festival
Become part of this dynamic, passionate and fun group of people that volunteer together at this event.
Volunteering Opportunity Available:
PRE EVENT ASSISTANCE
* Week of event office volunteers, Monday, March 19th - Friday, March 23rd, 9:00AM - 5:00PM (2-3 volunteers per day)
Early packet pick-up volunteers
* Tuesday, March 20th - 9:00AM - 7:00PM (can be broken into shifts)
* Wednesday, March 21st - 10:00AM - 7:00PM (can be broken into shifts)
Thursday, March 22nd
* Logistical Support (i.e. pack supplies, pack U-haul truck, etc.) heavy Lifting 10:00AM - 3:00PM (6-8 volunteers)
* Champion Reception Volunteer (set-up and check-in) 5:00PM - 8:30PM
Saturday, March 24th, 10:30AM - 5:30PM
* Setup (20-25 volunteers) Lake Nona (18 years and older)
DAY OF EVENT
Sunday, March 25th - 5:30AM -7:00 PM (different shifts and assignments available)
