We are looking for people who are willing to deconstruct donated wedding dresses, and then trace and cut out pattern pieces to help make angel gowns. These angel gowns are used as burial garments when a baby does not make it home from the hospital due to miscarriage, stillbirth or other infant death. It is an on-going opportunity. It can be done in your own home or at one of our monthly meetings in the Chicago area suburbs.
If you sew and would like to be part of our group of seamstresses and tailors, we'd also appreciate that expertise! Thank you!
