Project Clean Stream is Saturday, April 18, 2020, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
At Irvine Nature Center and other sites across the Chesapeake Bay watershed!
Project Clean Stream is the largest trash cleanup in the Chesapeake Bay region. In 2019, we removed 5.5 TONS of trash! Car parts, mattresses, tires, toilets, you name it we found it. Join us again in 2020 to top that record!! Looking for 400 volunteers to pick up 6 TONS of trash in 3 hours! Let's make our watershed cleaner and safer together. Volunteers ages 14+, please.
Irvine is also a Site Coordinator. If instead you want to become a Site Captain and run your OWN event, Irvine will help you register your event and get you started.

Description
Irvine Nature Center is a private, non-profit nature center located in Owings Mills, Maryland. We have 211 acres of woodlands, wetlands, and meadows that support a diverse population of wildlife. We provide more than 800 environmental education programs annually to roughly 95,000 individuals of all ages. Our goal is to expose people to the importance of environmental literacy and show those visiting our property the importance of environmental stewardship. We aim to teach a concern for the planet that translates into actions that help preserve our ecosystem and create a healthier planet!
