The monthly RED SHIELD program at The Salvation Army is held at 1033 Bellows Rd in Akron. Volunteers are here for just a few hours on the 2nd Wednesday of the month (8 AM -11:15 AM).

The NEXT RED SHIELD PANTRY IS May 8th.

Come on out and help in any way you're comfortable. You can organize food, shop carts of food or be outside and help load food into the cars.

Every month we make and load about 200 carts of food. The cars are lined up as much as 40 deep waiting for FREE GROCERIES.

Come out and be a part of this amazing community outreach! You can come alone, with your family or bring a group. The more hands the better!

Contact John Kasler at The Salvation Army to volunteer through this website or by calling/texting at 330.958.2906.
