ORGANIZATION: EYEJ: Empowering Youth, Exploring Justice

This is part of the EYEJ discussion series. EYEJ is a non-profit organization that seeks to amplify the voices of youth by bridging them with diverse individuals and engaging in interactive discussions that help teach students about social emotional learning. Each month’s discussion has a different topic that range from stress to technology. Volunteers are given a guide on the topic and are part of a team with 2 other volunteers. You do not have to be an expert on the topic to be part of the discussions series. We encourage volunteers to share their insight and wisdom with the students.

If you are interested in becoming a part of the discussion series, we have an information session each month. These events will include more information about EYEJ and the discussions. Please let me know if you are interested in attending so that we can be prepared. If you are not able to make it but would still like to be a part of the discussions, I would be happy to give you more information and answer any questions you have by meeting in person or over the phone. Thank you for considering volunteering with EYEJ.
