Stanford Blood Center is in need of Post-Donation Canteen Hosts for our Menlo Park blood center location.
These specially trained volunteers interact with our volunteer blood donors after their donation, monitoring their recovery, alerting medical personnel if there is a need, and serving refreshments.
Essential attributes include an outgoing and friendly personality, great customer service skills, and a desire to help people.
Our volunteers assist Stanford Blood Center with meeting our mission to provide blood products to patients in need!
Volunteers with weekday availability are needed
Volunteers must be 16+
Health screening and background check required
Requires 1 year commitment
