CONO assists the City of Colorado Springs Planning Department with its land use notices. The city issues a postcard to the impacted neighborhood- typically within 500-1000'. CONO then follows up with an email postcard describing more detail about the project and offers assistance to the neighborhood if there are questions on process. CONO is looking for volunteer to help with this email distribution process as there are many per day to keep up with. This person will work on a computer using mapping tools and directory information to ensure accurate information is distributed. This person will also help streamline the process and come up with new ways to implement and possibly auto-message to larger audiences. This person will work with CONO staff, volunteers and city planners.
