On 04/16/2019 The Southern California Hospice Foundation ( SCHF ) will be holding its 12th annual charity golf tournament!
Golf Committee volunteers:
Will help provide us brain power as we exchange ideas as a team, this has helped us accomplish great things for our organization; and from our experience , the more fresh/new thoughts that are brought in, the better results we will achieve.
Event Volunteers:
For those who would like to be more hands on with: transporting equipment, setting up the golf course, signing in guests at registration, setting up the auction table, etc.. Contact the Volunteer Coordinator Belinda Jones @ Belindaj@socalhospicefoundation.org

Description
Foundation Helper- Assisting SCHF events such as our Fundraisers, bereavement workshops, and outreach events. Direct Patient Volunteer- This is our hospice volunteer program and the opportunities are limitless when it comes to how you want to spend your time as a hospice volunteer. Share your music, watch a movie together, speak about current events, play card games together or share stories; the time spent as a hospice volunteer has a profound impact on the patient and their loved ones. Healing hearts Initiative- For volunteers who want to provide their special talent or service ( such as singing or bringing in a certified therapy animal) , SCHF creates a memorable experience by working hand in hand with the volunteer to tailor their talent/services for our patients. Angel Ambassador- Our Angel Ambassadors are our Hospice Volunteers who volunteer outside of the place of care; they deliver care packages, they help organize/coordinate our requests, and they host outings like going to a theme park or sporting event.
