Mission Statement

Neighbors Along The Line is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to provide for the immediate nutritional and medical needs of area residents while providing information and programs that contribute to self-development and independence.

Description

Since 1976, Neighbors Along The Line, a nonprofit agency, has served the residents of West Tulsa by providing free services such as a medical clinic, food pantry, GED, literacy programs, community library, senior outreach and more. Our facility at 5000 Charles Page Boulevard is a focal point for the more than 8,500 services we provided each month.

The 5.5 square mile area we primarily serve is bounded on the north by Edison Street, on the east by I-244, on the west by 81st West Avenue and on the south by the Arkansas River. We also now include the city of Sand Springs in our primary service area. Our facility is located by the old Katy Railroad line at 5000 Charles Page Boulevard in Tulsa.

Take a look at some of the ways we work with our neighbors:

Medical Clinic - serving more than 600 patients annually; includes outreach program.

Food Pantry - supplementing the nutritional needs of 1,700 households each year.

Literacy Program - Giving our neighbors the opportunity to learn, pass the GED test and improve their job marketability

Community and Satellite Programs - for women, alcoholics anonymous, narcotics anonymous, legal aid and more.
