Austin PAL is looking for motivated individuals to assist in fundraising and sponsorship efforts for free youth programs. All funds raised go directly to free youth programs which range from sports equipment and travel (basketball, boxing, soccer, etc), educational (alcohol drug and gang awareness), and positive interactions (school field days & assemblies) as well as promotional items (stickers, tattoos, swag).

Our mission is to prevent juvenile delinquency and violence by building the bond between Police and youth through athletic, educational and wellness programs.

Description

The Police Activities League of Austin (Austin PAL), a community-based crime prevention program, provides young people with positive alternatives to gangs and drugs. Through interaction with police officers in recreational, educational, athletic and fine arts activities, young people are given the opportunity to form healthy, positive attitudes toward the police, the society and the laws they represent.
