Good Shepherd Hospice is seeking volunteers with dogs who are certified in pet therapy or have passed the AKC Canine Good Citizen test to join our Paw Therapy program.
Volunteers and their dogs visit hospice patients wherever they call HOME. It in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or their own private home. Volunteers are need within the metroplex.
The Paw Therapy program visits are flexible and YOU decide on the hours you are able to give.

Hospice is a care system based upon the right of people to know accurately and honestly what is happening to them so they can spend the precious remaining time in the most purposeful and meaningful way consistent with they values and concerns.
