Finalist presenting to investors.

Girls at The Boys and Girls Club of the Peninsula in Menlo Park received a grant to participate in the Technovation program. Technovation is the world's largest tech entrepreneurship program for girls 10-18. In teams, girls learn how to solve a problem in their community by building a tech startup.

As a mentor, you will guide the girls through the different lessons and help them build their idea. You do not need tech or business skills (but they are helpful). It's more important that you are willing to help the teams develop lifelong skills such as problem-solving, persistence, and curiosity. The girls meet every Monday and Tuesday from 5pm - 6 pm. We know those are We know that time can be hard, but if you can commit to 3-5 times over the next few months, you will make a difference.
