The logistic chairs serve as the primary leads for all walk-day logistical needs. Volunteers are to ensure that all event day components, including the start/finish line, opening ceremony, and walk route are well planned and that participants have an excellent event experience from the parking lot to the finish line.

Mission Statement
To eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.
Description
The New Mexico Chapter serves Alzheimer's families around the state through support groups, a statewide Helpline, informational kits, resource information, a speakers bureau, training workshops, education conferences, health fairs, quarterly newsletters, Safe return, Project Lifesaver, a respite assistance program and advocacy.
These services are supported primarily through special events suck as The Walk to End Alzheimer's and private donations from individuals, corporations and foundations. We also receive about a third of our program support through the State of New Mexico Aging and Long Term Services Department.
