The sponsorship chairs serve as primary leads for recruiting new sponsors to the event as well as strengthening relationships with existing ones.Chairs will identify opportunities to engage the business community in the mission of the Alzheimer's Association and participate in the Walk to End Alzheimer's.

Mission Statement
To eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.
Description
The New Mexico Chapter serves Alzheimer's families around the state through support groups, a statewide Helpline, informational kits, resource information, a speakers bureau, training workshops, education conferences, health fairs, quarterly newsletters, Safe return, Project Lifesaver, a respite assistance program and advocacy.
These services are supported primarily through special events suck as The Walk to End Alzheimer's and private donations from individuals, corporations and foundations. We also receive about a third of our program support through the State of New Mexico Aging and Long Term Services Department.
