T he the Eno Section group of the Friends of the Mountains-to-Sea Trail, led by Fred Dietrich (dietrich@duke.edu), will be meeting at the end of Cole Mill Road, Eno River State Park, at the Few's Ford area (6101 Cole Mill Rd) for a trail workday . They will be working on the Cox Mountain trail reroute, a future portion of the Mountains-to-Sea Trail, by digging and leveling the trail tread, filling holes, and pulling rocks off the trail.
For this workday, you will need to wear solid shoes or boots, work clothes, and bring lunch, water, and work gloves. The Friends of the Mountains-to-Sea Trail will provide tools. RSVP to Fred Dietrich at dietrich@duke.edu or email for more details. In the event of bad weather, workdays will be canceled and an email to that effect will be sent out.
