ORGANIZATION: HARRASEEKET FOUNDATION

This shouldn't take a lot of time. We need someone with experience in hiring a web site developer; someone who understands how web sites are built and who has seen a site launch successfully. The people at Harraseeket who are working on the web site have zero experience and little understanding of how they're constructed. We have hired an experienced graphics designer , and are talking to a sophisticated web site development company who will build this on a wordpress platform and have gotten a preliminary bid. The web site isn't complicated. Our concern is that we don't know how to spec it, how to do a competitive bidding process to make sure we're getting the best price, whether what we are asking for makes sense, and whether we might pursue cheaper alternatives.

So we are looking for an occasional consultant to help us understand what we need, and help us look and be smarter with the developer, which will help keep costs down and help the project run smoother. and on time All this can be done by phone and online, on your schedule. But we would like to have an initial conversation soon.

The volunteer would not work directly with the web site developer, but instead give us advice from time to time as to how best to do it.
