ORGANIZATION: San Mateo Public Library - Main Library

Movie Monitor: Assist the Library staff in Children and Teens monthly movie program
by monitoring the movie room.

Qualifications:
* Age 16 or older
* Ability to work independently
* Good communication skills
* Ability to understand and follow directions clearly
* Good attention to details
* Reliable and responsible
* Ability to count and record information in writing
* Knowledge of basic AV equipment

Responsibilities:
* Assist with movie and audio equipment set up
* Set up and monitor food table (water & popcorn)
* Count and record program attendant numbers
* Monitor crowd noise levels and behavior
* Clean up room and put away supplies
* Work on other projects as needed

Training: * Attend Library Orientation Tour and on-the-job training covering tasks listed above

Time Commitment:
* One day per month, 2.5 hour shift
* Typically held on 1st or 2nd Thursday of the month
* 3:00-5:30pm
Length of Commitment: Minimum of 6 months requested

Site/Station: San Mateo Main Library / Oak Room
