Have you thought about becoming a hospice volunteer who can provide companionship to patients near the end of life? Join our team at Seasons Hospice and Palliative Care of Maryland by attending our Volunteer Orientation at the Seasons office in Belcamp. This 6 hour course will provide you with the history and philosophy of hospice care as well as information about the dying process, grief, bereavement, family dynamics, and spiritual concerns. We'll focus on the role our volunteers play in providing companionship, caregiver relief and supportive presence to our patients and their loved ones. The Class Date is Saturday, March 9. To register and obtain your volunteer application packet, please contact Karleen Lombard at klombard@seasons.org or call 888-523-6000 by February 15. There is pre-class homework so don't wait until the last minute to register.
