Volunteer would sit/stay with patient so that family member/caregiver can run errands or have a break from care giving. A relief sitter is usually with the patient for a minimum of 2 hours.
Volunteer does NOT provide care. They provide companionship for patient.

The word "Asana" is defined as a yoga position that is designed to help master the body and spirit and enhance the body's function.
The Asana Hospice team addresses the physical emotional,social and spiritual concerns that often arise when someone is facing a life-limiting issues. We focus on each individual patient, not the disease. Our holistic approach is centered on life and living, ensuring that patient and family receive the care comfort and attention they deserve.
Our volunteers are an integral part of our hospice team.
