We are an after school enrichment program. We work with underserved children in Long Beach and are in need of funding. Our goal is to expose children to programs they otherwise may not be exposed to. We want to give these children a voice in a community where they may easily be lost. Help us continue our advocacy work for these children.

Mission Statement
S.T.A.R.T.S. is a non-profit, volunteer-driven, after-school program dedicated to providing each child with learning opportunities to become a better student, a better friend and a better person. We offer a nurturing environment where the children are involved in a variety of activities designed to optimize their social skills and their self-esteem.

Creative Crafts
Enrichment Workshops
Hands-On Environmental Experience
Community Projects
And, of course, playtime. With the help of dedicated staff and volunteers, students share an educational, interactive and most importantly, fun afternoon.
