The role of the Chair is to help develop, grow, and engage with Red Rider/Strider program. The Chair will sit on our Tour planning committee and will recruit 2-3 volunteers to assist with tasks. Responsibilities include: developing and tracking an engagement plan, attending planning meetings, and ensuring a positive day of event experience for our Red Rider/Striders.
Red Rider/Striders are an extremely important part of our annual Tour de Cure fundraiser: they are participants with diabetes.

A person with diabetes - who understands the unique challenges of the disease because they have a personal connection to it - would be ideal, but not required.
