Join us for our second season of Lamprey/Steelhead surveys! Pacific lamprey, Brook lamprey, and Steelhead are all found in Johnson Creek and its tributaries. Surveyors will walk through the creek and record signs of lamprey and steelhead. Surveyors will commit to 3-4 surveys throughout the season (surveys will run from February 10 th- May 26 th). Training will be provided at the orientation by the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife and Johnson Creek Watershed Council- no experience is required, but registration is! Orientation is on Thursday February 8 th, 5:45-8pm.
We will be providing soup- feel free to bring a potluck dish to share with your fellow surveyors!
Registration can be done at: www.jcwc.org/lamprey2018
