Nehemiah Gateway Community Development Corporation (CDC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to provide access to financial education and services for low-to-moderate income individuals. Incorporated in 2000, the organization offers a variety of programs focused on increasing them in strategies for asset development, financial management and entrepreneurship.

Description

Nehemiah Gateway CDC operates the Delaware Tax and Financial Services Campaign in partnership with the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program and First State Community Action Agency (CAA). We provide free tax preparation, financial services/products, referrals to financial coaching, and credit reports for low-to-moderate income individuals and families.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be at least 16
  • Orientation or Training
  • December 2022 - April 2023. Tax training and certification occurs in December 2022 and tax preparation occurs from January - April 2023.
  • Computer experience, strong attention to detail and customer service skills. No tax experience required. IRS tax certification required. Training will be provided.
