The Longest Day (TLD) is a brand new and exciting event for the Alzheimer's Association that allows participants the flexibility and creativity to participate whenever and however they'd like. The Marketing and Outreach Chair position will be responsible for creating awareness and promoting TLD. This position will also recruit a subcommittee to help build awareness of TLD within the community through various methods, including the distribution of promotional collateral across chapter’s geographic area. Comfortable with public speaking.
- Projects:
- Identify a social media ambassador
- Distribute posters and rack cards
- Host tabling events and presentations
- Works in conjunction with staff partner, work to pitch news outlets, collect media-friendly participant stories, and bolster advertising opportunities.
