South Shore Habitat for Humanity is looking for volunteers to assist with the planning of its annual fundraising events. We have our High Heels and Hard Hats Gala and Scenic South Shore Bike Ride in June and our Golf outing at the Marshfield Country Club in October. All funds raised for these events support the construction of affordable home throughout Plymouth and Norfolk Counties. We are currently scheduled to build 7 homes in Duxbury, 3 in Hingham, 1 in Westwood and 1 in Easton in the near future.
Habitat for Humanity does not give its homes away. We offer simple, decent, affordable home ownership opportunities to low-income households earning no more than 60% of the area median income through a 30-year interest free mortgage.
South Shore Habitat is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and does not discriminate with respect to age, gender, sexual preference, disability, race, religion or national origin.
