Event Description:
Join us for a fun litter cleanup along Mill Creek! Each time it rains, trash is washed into our waterways, disrupting stream life and its natural beauty. We need your help to clean up in and around Mill Creek for both outdoor enthusiasts and wildlife alike!
Additional Information:
Please note that the park is actually named Whitsett Park, but Google has incorrectly named it. Make sure you type in Whittsitt Park if you are using Google Maps to navigate.
Be sure to bring a reusable water bottle and a snack; we will have a water station set up, but we would like to reduce our use of disposable cups! It is also HIGHLY recommended that our volunteers wear boots and long pants that you don't mind getting dirty. It will be muddy in some areas. Bring a Jacket!

Description
Since 1997, the Cumberland River Compact and its members have worked to improve the quality of water in the Cumberland River Basin, and in doing so, to improve the quality of life of our basin’s communities. There’s still much to be done, and we intend to do it!
We believe that water quality and a healthy environment are fundamental to sustainable, strong local economies. Since our founding, we’ve worked cooperatively with local, state and federal agencies, farmers, businesses, technical professionals, local o cials, neighborhood groups, and other watershed stakeholders who share this belief. All to ensure clean and abundant water resources that support, life, recreation, and economic well-being throughout the Basin.
