ORGANIZATION: Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh

Are you an enthusiastic library lover? Are you interested in attending fun events all over the city? Join the Library Outreach and Community Advocacy Leaders (LOCAL) volunteers!

LOCAL volunteers help out by attending community events, facilitating fun, library-centric activities, chatting with community members about books, movies and library events events, and advocating on behalf of their neighborhood libraries.

Volunteers are trained in outreach best practices, attend a quarterly meeting, and commit to volunteering for approximately 3-5 hours per month.
