We are currently accepting applications for the Medical Oncology Infusion Clinic volunteer positions at North Colorado Medical Center.
Volunteers must be at least eighteen years of age and be willing to volunteer one day a week. The current opening is for Mondays from 10:00 AM-1:00 PM and Thursday from 10:00-1:00 PM (Once a week.)
We are looking for volunteers who work well independently and, in a team, setting. Volunteers will need excellent communication skills and be comfortable volunteering in a clinical setting with cancer patients. If you have personally experienced cancer in your life or that of a family member, or you have an interest in a future oncology career, we would love to hear from you.
This is a very physical position, so we require prospective candidates who have been through cancer treatment be 6 months post treatment and/or have the ability to walk, stand, bend etc. for a 2-3-hour shift. Please contact us for more information on how you can volunteer.
