Description
Reading Intervention
- Reading intervention to develop student self-esteem because of the lack of basic reading skills. Significantly increase reading skills consisting of vowel sounds, correct phonics and placing sounds together to form words and increase reading and comprehension
- Group Therapy
- An outlet for youth to address issues in a safe setting with peers. These group therapy sessions include understanding negative peer interactions, social issues, family issues, a pressure to engage in a premature sexual activity, teenage pregnancy, substance abuse, truancy from school and/or home, domestic violence and other violent behaviors.
