NJ HOBY Facilitators spend their seminar leading groups of 8-10 high school sophomores through group discussions, challenging leadership activities, hands-on community service projects, and fun team building exercises. It's a really fun way to build your own leadership skills, network with other volunteers from around the state, and serve as a mentor for some awesome kids.
Facilitators leave their HOBY weekend feeling completely uplifted, driven, and inspired by the experience. It's a really moving (and fun!) opportunity that can be absolutely life changing.
