Volunteer with Special Olympics Washington for our 2018 Northwest Regional Ski and Snowboard Competition. Volunteers will have the opportunity to start, time and record times of athletes as they make their way through novice, intermediate and advanced runs. Volunteers who can ski/snowboard are expected to bring their own equipment. Lift tickets are provided. Volunteers without equipment will help prepare lunches, hand out awards and more at the base of the mountain.

Description
Special Olympics Washington provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with mental retardation or a closely related developmental disability, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes, and the community.
